As of recent Monday morning, the speech and hearing clinic ran a tight schedule. With a speech clinician or a hearing technician, twenty five children were screened for cases of speech and hearing impediments. In their particular areas 537 preschool children were also evaluated by a junior league volunteer technician and a staff speech pathologist. More exams were needed for hearing for 61 children and 86 for further speech assessments.
